Ice in the a/c

I do not suppose that my hubby and I are meant to have air conditioner in our vehicle. It has never worked out for us to have air conditioner. The first car that the people I was with and I owned did not have air conditioner, so the people I was with and I tried to service it, however the people I was with and I were not able to. There was a pretty significant leak in an air conditioner line, and the patch that the people I was with and I put on there did not hold! We drove it an entire summer time without air conditioner which was completely angry. It was extremely hot, and the seats in the car were made of black leather. We had to buy cloth seat covers because resting on those seats when it was so overheated in the car was unbearable. We finally got an air conditioner line put in before our fifth summer time with the car; Unfortunately, the transmission went in the car just a month after the people I was with and I updated the AC line. We ended up getting a newer vehicle, and it had air conditioner. It worked great for about more than one months. We stopped at a gas station 1 day and when the people I was with and I opted to go to leave, the people I was with and I turned the car back on, and the air conditioner vents started spitting out pieces of ice. It was not long after that day that the air conditioner stopped blowing cold, and the people I was with and I found out that the people I was with and I had another leak in 1 of our AC lines. I assume the people I was with and I just legitimately are not made to have a car with air conditioner. It is so expensive to update an AC line, so my hubby is going to try and do it himself.
