The fall season and how it’s important to have your heater serviced before the winter.

I have always been fortunate to live in an area where we get to embrace all four seasons.

Most people I know count the days until it’s time for summer but fall is by far my favorite of them all.

It means beautiful views of colored leaves, apple picking with kids, carving pumpkins and football. It also means that cooler temperatures are on the way. Soon enough it will be time to trade in the air conditioning and shorts to turn on the furnace as cozy fleece blanket alone may not do the trick alone anymore. What most people take for granted is how important it really is to have an HVAC technician come out and take a look each year. This could save you a heating service call or even a lot of money when you are backed into a corner with no heat after the furnace dies with no warning. A simple maintenance call can give you peace of mind that you are getting the most from your furnace and air conditioner. It’s more than just changing out an air filter, it’s making sure that all the HVAC components are working properly. Let’s be honest, I would rather know on my time that a few parts need changing out instead of waking up at three am to one or all of the kids climbing into my bed with freezing cold feet because the furnace never kicked on once we went to bed. One simple call is all it takes to keep the cold outside where most people want it at that time of year.
