The Nuts and Bolts of HVAC Preventive Maintenance

The people I was with and I make our home in a northern region where the HVAC methods are a fun total part of every home.

If you don’t have good HVAC, it’s certainly going to be a long and hot season for you. I can’t even imagine going through the numerous weeks where the outside temps can stay in the upper 90’s. They don’t dip day to day. They stay right there or get a bit hotter. This is why having a reliable, effective and quality HVAC machine is of utmost importance. The HVAC in any home is not only cooling off the house. The HVAC is removing humidity as it removes the heated air. Without this, the condo would be ripe for mold and mildew growth. I’ve seen it many times before and it is not a pretty sight. I remember some people I knew as a kid had what he called a swamp cooler. This thing was an evaporative cooler which did not remove the humidity. Not only was it gross and sticky hot but, those folks had to work extra taxing to stop mold growth. Nope, I always make my HVAC a top priority in our home. That means I spend my savings on it throughout the whole year. I am certainly a firm believer in using preventive HVAC maintenance. The people I was with and I have the certified HVAC pros come out in the early Spring and late fall to tune up and repair our entire HVAC system. Not only does this maintain the HVAC machine in tip top shape but it also adds to its longevity. The way I look at it, I am spending only a little bit of money to save a whole lot over the long term.
